My name is Ivica Anteski. I’m a tango teacher, international tango DJ, event organizer.
I love meaningful conversations with people who question things and I enjoy discovering how they navigate this strange thing we call “human experience”. I prefer taking the harder path over shortcuts. I enjoy jokes, traveling, poetry, philosophy, playing guitar, tango… I enjoy life.
Why I created this website?
I want to inspire people to discover traditional tango (milonguero) because it’s more than a dance. It’s something deeply human, emotional and social; and it can help you challenge yourself and grow.
My work on “Tango Mentor” is based on my strong belief that tango needs more honest voices – people willing to talk about the real challenges and the contradictions. As a beginner, I was often misguided and confused. Now I want to share my experience, ideas, and insights with others, and help them have a smoother tango journey than I did.

Why should you trust me?
You shouldn’t.
You shouldn’t trust anyone blindly. Trust is a valuable thing – it should be earned through honesty and truthfulness.
If you ask me, I would say: trust your own experience, and do your own research. People often trust unverified advice just for the sake of convenience = less effort. Even if your path sometimes leads to mistakes, you’ll have the lesson. Take a step back, and move on.
I think that teaching should never rely on authority, but on quality, clarity, and real results.
